What are the opening hours?

The Kunsthal and the shop are open Tuesday to Sunday, from 10:00 to 17:00. The Kunsthal Cafe opens earlier: you are welcome from 9:30 to 17:30. View all opening hours.

Where can I buy a ticket?

Tickets can be purchased online at www.kunsthal.nl/tickets. Please note: you must book a ticket with a time slot in advance, even if you have a Museumkaart or Rotterdampas.

How do I get to the Kunsthal?

Is the Kunsthal accessible?

All exhibition spaces are wheelchair accessible and lifts are available. Visit the Accessibility page for more information.

How can I pay?

You can pay by debit card, MasterCard or VISA. Cash payments are not accepted.

Are there lockers?

Yes, there are lockers in the cloakroom for small bags and coats. You can lock them using a free token. Bags larger than A4 size and backpacks must be stored in a locker. The number of lockers is limited and there is no space for large luggage.

What should I do if I have lost something?

Have you lost something? Please email receptie@kunsthal.nl. You will receive a response during office hours.

For groups

Do groups need to make a reservation?

Groups must book an online ticket with a time slot in advance via kunsthal.nl/tickets. This also applies to holders of a Museumkaart, Rotterdampas or VriendenLoterij VIP-KAART. School visits are only possible with a reservation. More information can be found on the Education page.

Can I hire a space?

Yes, you can organise an event or reception at the Kunsthal. For more information, visit the Business Events and Venue Hire page.

Museumkaart

Can I buy a Museumkaart at the Kunsthal?

Yes, you can buy a Museumkaart at the information desk. The card is valid immediately.

How does visiting with a Museumkaart work?

Even with a Museumkaart, you need to book an online ticket with a time slot in advance. Select ‘Museumkaart’ when making your reservation. You will not be charged for your ticket. Your Museumkaart serves as your method of payment. Bring both your Museumkaart and your online ticket to the Kunsthal. Both will be scanned upon entry.
